It is no secret that digital media platforms have shifted and changed the way we communicate. As humans it is important that we shift along with this change and adjust to the way we communicate our message across to our audiences. So, what do we need to look out for in 2021?

Virtual events will continue to stick around for years to come.

With everything moving to online, virtual events have become the new norm. According to

Forbes article virtual events have grown by 100%. It has opened doors for companies to share their content and network across a global audience. It is powerful, as it allows for you to think outside the box on ways to engage with an audience behind a screen. Whilst at the same time, allows for you to collect data during the event including when your attendees are logged in, the number of people and so much more.


Social media platforms

Figures shows they are 3.78 billion social media users worldwide in 2021. Social media is the key tool to connecting people and communities together. Platforms like Instagram and TikTok are new market channels which will allow you to step- up your social media game if you know who your target audience is especially if you want to combat the Gen Z and younger audience. Actively engaging and sharing content along with promotional content that will drive your audiences to share and like your content.


Videos and video stories

In today’s world it is all about creating videos that can tell a story, videos can convey an organization’s story and purpose, whilst actively capturing the audience’s attention and involvement. More importantly, it helps you to create an emotional connection with the supporters which can motivate them to take action. Video stories are short and quick stories which allows you to create relevant content to engage with your audience.
